Do you offer objective ADHD testing?
Yes. We offer QbCheck, an FDA-cleared computer-based test that measures attention, impulsivity, and activity and compares your results with a reference group matched for age and sex. You complete it remotely at home on a computer with a webcam, and your provider reviews the results with you. QbCheck supports the clinical evaluation — it does not replace it, and no test result alone diagnoses or rules out ADHD.
Can adults be diagnosed with ADHD for the first time?
Yes. Many adults are diagnosed for the first time after years of unexplained difficulty with focus, organization, and follow-through. A first-time adult diagnosis is common and often brings significant relief and effective treatment options.
Do you prescribe ADHD medication through telepsychiatry?
We offer ADHD evaluation and treatment via telepsychiatry across Virginia. Prescribing of certain controlled medications may require specific steps in some cases, which your provider will review with you during your visit.
How long does an ADHD evaluation take?
An initial comprehensive evaluation typically takes 60–90 minutes, allowing time to review your history, screen for related conditions, and begin building a personalized plan.
